You're right as you describe the plot: it's a simple movie marked by episodic events (crash, get poisoned, fight monkeys, fight tiger, fight Ursa, reunite) and plays it very safe. Personally, I didn't think it was that bad. But the rest of the movie is slow, indeed. It's pretty intense and the crash sequence is good. Honestly, the first 30 minutes are pretty solid. Jayden saves the day and Will lives, everyone is happy and no one remembers the hundreds of other crewmembers that died terrible deaths during the crash. Jayden gets to volcano, fights the monster with his lightsaber. Runs from Monkeys, Birds, more moneys, cold, while looking for rest of crashed ship.Īn eagle saves him for no real reason, actually its cause he killed a tiger. Jayden gets his videogamesque inventory of shitty gadgets, goes for hike. Ship crashes, all die but Will N J, Monster escapes Will goes to cockpit and zomg they hit a meteor storm Jayden goes to cargo bay to look at crazy monster egg, gets yelled at. Will and J get onto dildo shaped spaceship and walk around.
Opening: Will explains future war with aliens and why they left earf and shit.Ĭut to Jaden being in mega elite ranger corps and sucking it up. Its like and hour and a half "watch jaden run from CGI giant animals and look worried while Will yells at him from a chair."
